Cancelled or Postponed
Water Polo
Due to the COVID 19 virus risk, all Southern Highlands Water Polo Competitions (including seniors and juniors) have been cancelled. The Club will provide details of the outcome of the competitions soon and apologises for this disruption in what has been a very successful season of water polo. All other training and representative activities are also postponed or cancelled, as is the 40th Anniversary Celebration on March 28. Details of any rescheduling of events will be shared when the club is certain that risks relating to COVID 19 have passed. This decision has been made in the best interests of our water polo community and families. We are really sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this decision brings and thank you for your understanding.

Moss Vale District Basketball Association Inc
Moss Vale and District Basketball Association Inc. has been closely monitoring information and advice issued by the Australian Government, NSW Health and the sports national and state governing bodies. The Board of MVDBAI holds the health, safety and wellbeing of its members as paramount and has made the decision to suspend all basketball related activities until further notice. This includes all domestic competitions and representative trainings. The Board has been, and will continue to, consult with BNSW on an ongoing basis to continually assess the situation and pass information on to members regularly as updates come to hand. The Board apologises for any inconvenience that this may cause and would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times.
Bowral Blacks Rugby Union
Bowral Rugby is following the advice from Rugby Australia and will suspend all training and games until May. We will continue to update you as this situation develops and advise the exact date that training and games will recommence.
Southern Highlands Netball Association
Southern Highlands Netball Association has postponed the competition until May.
The advice was issued by Netball NSW.
NNSW has also advised that all training, playing and grading cease until further notice.
Cecelia Marmont sad that the situation could change and information will be updated.
"Our priority is the health and wellbeing of our Southern Highlands Netball Community, including players, volunteers and extended families."
Rugby League
A special meeting of the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) Board has agreed to postpone all Community Rugby League until at least May 1, 2020, effective immediately, while all major NSWRL competitions have been suspended until May 31 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cricket
Message from the HDCA
It is with great reluctance that the Board of the Highlands District Cricket Association has decided to bring season 2019/2020 to an end.
We would like to thank all of our players, umpires, scorers, parents, sponsors and volunteers as the season does not happen without everyone working together.
Thank you your continued cooperation and support for the local game and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Highlands Soccer Association
The soccer season which is scheduled to begin on March 28 has been postponed until April 14.
Hockey
President of the Southern Highlands Hockey Association Paul Sabatier has announced the Highlands competition will be delayed for now.
"Our governing body, Hockey NSW announced that the competition will be delayed until May," he said.
"We won't be starting this weekend like we had planned. So there will be no hockey activity until after May."
