Free organised activities will run from 9 am to 12 pm and from 4pm to 7pm.
In between those times all five courts will be available for free use by players of any standard. The day will feature the Tennis Australia 'Get Your Racquet On' initiative which focuses on fun on-court activities.
The club will also celebrate the completion of the re-surfacing work on all five courts and the extension to the clubhouse at the Moss Vale tennis facility.
There will be free sausage sizzles and light refreshments. Adults can BYO drinks.
On court activities will be hosted by coaches Fer Garcia, Chelsea Pernice and Sergio Rojas Tessel.
Activities will cover juniors and adults for both beginners and established players. Ex-players who may be thinking about returning to the sport and those wanting to try tennis for the first time are most welcomed.
There is no need to bring a racquet or a mate, everything will be supplied, including advice and support. All free.
For anyone who may not be confident to play on a full court or just wanting some fun exercise in a social atmosphere, there will be Open Court Sessions, pickleball style (using paddles instead of racquets).
For established players there will be doubles matchups.
There will be music to add to the fun and supportive atmosphere.
These Open Court sessions will also provide a preview of a new weekly program which will be introduced at the courts this year. Visit for more information https://www.highlandstenniscommunity.com/adults.
