Member for Wollondilly, Nathaniel Smith MP, today announced $306,615 from the NSW Government's Stronger Country Communities Fund to resurface four courts at the Eridge Park Burradoo Netball Courts.
"I am delighted that upgrading of the courts has received funding. This is a most worthwhile project and will benefit our netballers, their supporters and friends," he said.
Mr. Smith welcomed the announcement by Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW John Barilaro who said funds were being distributed across regional NSW, with many regional communities set to benefit from this fund.
"Locals across regional NSW are seeing the benefits of rounds one and two of the Fund, with projects making a big difference to everyday life, from new playgrounds loved by kids to light towers illuminating sporting fields," Mr Barilaro said.
"This funding of grassroots projects makes a real difference to each community, and I know how important it is to support our regional towns with new infrastructure and programs," Mr Smith added.
The Stronger Country Communities Fund is part of the NSW Government's Regional Growth Fund, which is being invested in local programs and infrastructure that improve the lives of people living in regional NSW.
