While some people may have had enough of the glorious rain over the weekend, they certainly weren't water polo players, who couldn't wait to get back into it at the Frensham Centenary Pool on Monday evening.

The Southern Highlands A grade competition saw Polar Bears and Horton's Heroes come away with wins.
Horton's Heroes had a good win over Dolphins 8-4. Dolphins were missing their Wollongong connection, whose trip up the pass was blocked with the closure due to the wet.

Dolphins didn't give the game away and Horton's Heroes had to work hard for their win. They outscored Dolphins 2-1 in each of the first two quarters, to lead 4-2 at half time.
Dolphins tightened the defence in the third period to hold Horton's Heroes to 1-1 in the third period. The final period saw the Heroes take the game out of Dolphins reach with three goals to Dolphins one.
The Jamieson brothers, Jono with 4 goals and Will with 3 goals, were the ones teaching the Dolphins new tricks.
Polar Bears continued their winning way with a win over Sharks 5-0.
Sharks were down on numbers but put up a good effort. The strength of the Balla sisters, Lauren and Elyse, in both in attack and defence, reflected the Polar Bears dominance of the match.
The Bears have been building a good combination, with a mixture of age and youth working well.
In B grade Oxley Gold won a tight match 7-5 against Smugglers.
The first quarter was even at 2-2 before Oxley Gold edged ahead 4-3 at half time, after taking the quarter 2-1.
Oxley Gold consolidated their position in the third period with two unanswered goals in the quarter to take their lead out to 6-3.
The Smugglers tried hard to sneak back into contention.
They pulled back a goal to get to 4-6 but Oxley were up to the challenge and scored again. Smugglers scored the last goal of the match but the break was too big to breach.
Polar Bears 6 defeated Dolphins 2 in a tight match.
The first quarter was scoreless and both teams could only manage a solitary goal in the second quarter for a 1-1 half time score line.
The third period was the breaking point, as Polar Bears outscored Dolphins three to one and establish a winning break 4-2. The Polar Bears consolidated, with two last quarter goals to seal the win 6-2.
Horton's Heroes 8 defeated Oxley Blue 4.
Horton's Heroes and Oxley Blue were evenly matched in the first half.
The first quarter was 2-2 and Horton's Heroes managed to edge a goal ahead at half time, in taking the second quarter 2-1, for a 4-3 lead.
Horton's Heroes coach, Will Jamieson must have delivered an inspirational talk at half time, as his charges came out and posted three unanswered goals to establish a handy 7-3 lead going into the last quarter.
Oxley Gold steadied and pulled back a goal in the early part of the last quarter but couldn't make any further inroads before conceding a penalty goal in the dying moments of the game.
