Motorists are advised the Illawarra Highway at Macquarie Pass has reopened to traffic ahead of the afternoon peak traffic period.

Crews have carried out repairs in day and night shifts at Macquarie Pass following a minor landslide, with the recovery work completed by 3.30pm today.
Repairs have included clearing blocked drains, road resurfacing and removing fallen trees, rocks and soil from the road. Safety assessments have also been carried out to ensure the road is safe to be reopened to traffic.
Work to carry out drainage repairs on the Illawarra Highway near Tourist Road, Robertson is also expected to be completed by 5pm today. Until work is completed one lane will remain closed and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place.
