She snapped this picture during a visit to Mount Penang Gardens at Kariong on the Central Coast.
"I thought how beautiful the Lotus flower was and even in a garden affected by a long drought this gorgeous plant blossomed supremely," she said.
Typically the beautiful lotus is born from murk and mire.
