The meeting will be held at Moss Vale Civic Centre Civic Centre Theatrette, and is open to the public.
Council will livestream the meeting on its Facebook page.
A number of items will be discussed on the agenda.
- A development application for the erection of buildings and carrying out of work for a seniors housing development in Orchid Street, Colo Vale.The development for over 55s will compromise of 4 self contained dwellings in two storey building. The application has appeared in council several times and on July 26 2019 councillors consented to the application subject to recommended conditions.
- A notice of motion on declaring a climate change emergency will be presented before council. Councillors Larry Whipper and Gordon Markwart have given notice to move a motion for council to recognise the latest climate change science, that council make a climate change declaration and that council express their concerns regarding the worsening of climate change to federal and state politicians.
- A petition will be received in council in relation to 40 Sir James Fairfax Circuit, Bowral. The petition contains 80 signatures. The proposed development at 40 Sir James Fairfax Circuit in Bowral consisted of two detached dual occupancy buildings and a subsequent subdivision. It was subsequently refused by council at the October 9 2019 meeting.
