A former NSW police officer has faced court charged following an investigation into a domestic-related incident at a Southern Highlands home late last year.

Following an alleged domestic-related assault at a home in Bowral on Tuesday, December 24, officers from The Hume Police District, with the assistance of police in Sydney, have conducted extensive inquiries to locate a 40-year-old man.
Officers from South Sydney Police Area Command were actively searching for the man on Friday, after receiving information he may be in the Botany area.
Police located the man and he was later returned to custody at Mascot Police Station.
Three outstanding arrest warrants were executed for the offences of armed with intent commit indictable offence, two counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic), and two counts of common assault (domestic).
He was also charged with two counts of resist officer in execution of duty, assault officer in execution of duty, intimidate police officer in execution of duty, three counts of use carriage service to threaten to kill, and use carriage service to menace/harass/offend.

The man was refused bail and appeared at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
