This work involves safety barrier installation, shoulder widening and drainage upgrades to ensure a safer journey for motorists.
Work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm from Wednesday 15 January for up to seven weeks, weather permitting.
Work on Fridays will be carried out between 7am and 12pm to minimise the impact to motorists. No work will be carried out on weekends or the January 27 Public Holiday.

Please note these work dates are subject to change at short notice should the motorway be required to be cleared due to bushfires.
Changed traffic conditions and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place during work hours. A reduced speed limit of 80 km/h will remain in place outside of work hours.
Motorists are advised to allow up to 10 minutes additional travel time during this work.
