Every man and his dog will be at the Mittagong Markets this weekend. Mittagong Markets offers a wide range of goodies for everyone. Dog lovers and their furry friends will love homemade dog treats and other dog related products, while everyone else will enjoy the country style atmosphere, fresh produce and range of products on display.
High Tea and Harmony
January 19, Peppers Manor House, Sutton Forest, 12 pm - 3 pm
Gather your mum/sister/friends and treat yourself to High Tea at Peppers Manor House accompanied by sumptuous live music provided by acclaimed singer/pianist Anton Koritni. Relax in The Great Hall and indulge your senses with a feast of high tea and music in an elegant country retreat that exudes old world charm. Be spoilt with traditional or vegetarian treats, such as freshly baked scones, savoury finger sandwiches and the chef's selection of delectable desserts. Cost is $38 for adults with a choice of tea and coffee, $48 per adult with a glass of Sparkling and $16.50 per child with a hot chocolate or juice.
Free kids bingo
January 15 and 22, Mittagong RSL, 11 am for 11:30 start
Kids getting bored in the school holidays and exhausted every other option? Head down to Mittagong RSL for free kids bingo. Sit back and relax while the kids play a game of bingo that will keep them entertained over the holidays. Bingo is a game of chance in which each player matches numbers printed in different arrangements on cards which the numbers the game host (caller) draws at random, marking the selected numbers with tiles. Suitable for kids between 4 - 12 year olds.
Jump Fest
January 13 - 17, Wollondilly Leisure Centre, Picton, 10 am - 4 pm
Kids of all ages will find plenty to keep themselves entertained when Jump Fest, the ultimate wet n' dry inflatable fun-park bounces back to the Wollondilly Leisure Centre in the school holidays. There will be giant slides, bouncy houses and a velcro wall will keep kids busy on dry land, while water babies can sprint, splash or slide their way across the giant 12.5 metre water adventure inflatable.
Talking with Sculpture
January 4 - February 10, The SHAC 74-76 Hoddle Street, Robertson, 10 am - 4 pm
David Ball has taken up the challenge and, on a whim, and with just a few short weeks of notice has pulled together this pop-up exhibition with steel, sticks and stones. Brilliant crafting has realised a kaleidoscope of thoughts by some of Australia's most celebrated sculptors. This is a rare find in a small regional show.
