Disaster Welfare Services staff will be available on January 13 and January 14 2020 between 9am and 4pm at Council's Moss Vale Civic Centre.
Further presence will be determined following the initial two day visits.
The OEM leads, coordinates and develops capability in the emergency management sector and conducts state-wide welfare and recovery operations during times of disaster.
The primary focus for their Moss Vale visit will be to complete applications for people who may be eligible for 'natural disaster' payment. Criteria for eligibility are limited to people who have lost their home, are un-insured or on a low income.
The Australian Red Cross will also be in attendance to provide counselling support.
No appointments are necessary.
