This time with a workshop of a new play by young Southern Highlands writer David Bermingham - alongside a cast of SHYAC alumni.
SHYAC manager Mandy Bransgrove is excited to be doing this progression of the work that SHYAC undertakes.
Following the workshop, which shall be led by Highlands Pro Director, Dave Letch, there shall be a public reading of the new play - geared specifically to younger audiences, but certainly packs a punch for the general public.
A great new initiative from SHYAC who have now been running, as previously reported in these pages, as a vital tool for young people's development in theatre and has been breaking new ground for the past 28 years.
Of the 2019 production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Letch wrote of SHYAC:
"Beyond important. Passing on knowledge, practice and the sheer joy - and hard slog - of production. Ensures that the future generation of artists on whatever level - have a platform in the here and now of their youth."
