Guided by tutors Margaret Scott and Edith Csontos children will explore making and decorating different styles of books with an emphasis on using recycled materials.
All materials and tools will be supplied.
Workshops will be held on January 8 and 15 202 at workshop 3 at Bowral Art Gallery (BDAS), 1 Short Street, Bowral.
Workshop sessions cost $65 per child. Book before December 8 for a discount at $60.

Gruffalo Spotters Trail
December 14 - January 28, Illawara Fly Treetop Adventures, 9 am - 5 pm. Last admissions at 4 pm.
Take your Gruffalo escapade to the next level at Illawara Fly Treetop Adventures. Summer Storytime will be hosted by one of parks very own Rangers in their newly decorated Kids Corner, where children can hear the story of The Gruffalo at select times throughout the day. Kids can continue the fun as they skip and stroll through the 'deep dark woods' like Mouse, wriggle around and hiss like Snake or sneak about the Treetop Walk on your tiptoes like Fox. Bat On Bradman
Spend the holidays honing your cricket skills on the iconic Bradman Oval, where Don Bradman learnt to bat as a young boy.
Simply visit one of the friendly staff at the Bradman Museum's front counter and grab a free cricket kit to have a bat on the iconic oval's outfield.
Cricket kits and oval outfield access are free with general admission to Bradman Museum.
Suitable all ages. Weather dependant. Availability subject to oval not in use by other events.
The Bat on Bradman experience will be held until May 31 from 10am to 4pm.
Sturt Gallery Summer School
You can now join the Sturt summer and 'get creative' in the holidays. Hundreds of like-minded people are set to enjoy the cool-climate campus and share courses across a wide range of art forms plus dedicated courses for young people.
For Sturt Summer School 2020, held from January 4 to 8, the gallery will offer 24 adult courses and one-day courses for children.
Children's courses on offer include:
- Dinosaur designs, ceramics with Machiko Motoi
- Sow your own crazy critter with Kate Hunter Walker
- Painting pets and people with Slavica Zivkovic

Puppet theatre for all ages
Event Date: Every Sunday at 11am at delightful puppet show graces the Sutton Forest Village Hall.
The puppet show will open a portal into your imagination with quality performances from internationally acclaimed puppetry artists. Shows are generally around 40 minutes long and there is plenty to see and do.
Come a bit early to enjoy a free tea or coffee and play with the wonderful collection of puppets.
