The event which was on December 3 drew waiting and disembarking crowds in for a free morning tea and a warm cup of tea or coffee.
Station staff Jessica Byrnes and Travis Beaver were on hand to serve and support customers on their daily commute.
"We have a lot of disabled passengers who use the service," Jessica said.
"We also have personal links ourselves. It seemed natural to do.
"It's something we wanted to do and create awareness.
"We've had a lot of people come in, a lot of foot traffic.
"It's a celebration not many people know about.
"It's our first year doing this and I would 100 per cent do this again. I love seeing smiles on people's faces."
The event was catered with help from the Country Women's Association Mittagong branch and hospitality students from Bowral High School.
Mittagong Train Station will reveal the winner of the colouring competition this week. Prizes were donated by Plaster Pitt in Bowral and Lee Lee's Cupcakes in Moss Vale.
The free morning tea will be available until 12 pm at Mittagong Station on December 3 in the waiting room.
