Members of the Harbison Resident Art Group have rolled up their sleeves and created beautiful artworks for Christmas. This follows their successful showing at the Moss Vale Show, where a number of prizes were awarded to the Harbison artists.
Through a focus on ability and creativity, the residents have created artworks that brighten the hearts of all who see them, and are keen to share this joy with the community.
The talented artists have provided permission for their work to be used to create a range of Christmas cards which are now available for sale.
The residents were very excited to see their masterpieces printed and ready to spread Christmas cheer.
The original paintings are on display in the living area of the Burradoo Hostel, along with many other beautiful canvasses.
On a daily basis, Harbison residents are involved in a wide range of activities programs which include: exercise, trivia, a gardening club, bingo, carpet bowls and bocce, cooking classes, men's group, ladies' group, movie screenings, the Motiview International Cycling program, art classes, concerts, piano recitals, school visits and more.
Harbison is a community-owned organisation, which has provided aged care services to the Southern Highlands for more than 60 years, and continues to bring new and exciting offerings to the region along with a proud history of providing quality care.
