A few items on the agenda this week:
Councillor Turland will move a motion at the meeting for the Audit, Risk and Improvement Advisory Committee to undertake a review into the Berrima Overpass Project due to its failure to be completed.
Councillors will debate a review of a determination application for a dual occupancy and subdivision at 40 Sir James Fairfax Circuit, Bowral. Council staff recommend approval subject to conditions.
Wingecarribee Shire councillors will determine if Family Day Care and Mittagong-based Wingecarribee Out of School Hours (WOOSH) should remain available to parents at the meeting.
Councillors can decide to continue with only one of the two services, withdraw both services, or continue both services but change the funding model, workforce plan and marketing strategy.
A report on the complaints received and finalised under Council's Code of Conduct during the period from September 1 2018 to August 31 2019 will be presented to council.
Councillors Turland, Whipper and Halstead intend to rescind a motion passed on November 13 relating to the sale of Frankland Street in Mittagong.
Council staff recommend the motion that the council accept the tender by Willow Properties Pty Ltd and Paloma Blanca and authority be delegated to the general manager and mayor to execute the sale be rescinded. Councillor Turland will move a motion to extend the time for members of the public to speak and present to councillors on public forum and visitor items from three minutes to five minutes.
