Bowral resident Jean Tollis, who turned 100-years-old on Monday, has good authority to give you advice.
Mrs Tollis said three things have made a difference to both the quality and quantity of her life.
"Exercise every day, touch your toes every morning and eat good food," she said.
The 100-year-old celebrated her milestone birthday at an afternoon tea at Bowral House Nursing Home.
Jean also provided advice on what she would tell her younger self and the youth of today.
"I think exercise is very important. Make sure you go for a walk every day," she said.
