Moss Vale Hospital Auxiliary will hold its final fundraiser for the year on November 11. This will take the form of a Cent Afternoon from 1.30pm at the Senior Citizen's Centre in Queen Street, Moss Vale. There will also be a trading table and the Christmas raffle will be drawn.

Australian Conservation Foundation is looking back in time to raise funds and awareness for the future. The national environment organisation will present an old classic in a fundraising movie night on November 27. An independent, non-partisan organisation ACF advocates clean air and water and for a world forests, rivers, people and wildlife can thrive. Its work is entirely funded by donations. The Highlands community will have the chance to show support for the organisation and take a journey back in time when Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kids screens at the Empire Cinemas. Every Friday morning between 10am and midday the foyer of the Mittagong Anglican Church is open to the public for free morning tea. The church's professional barista knows how to make one of the best coffees in town. A professional counsellor offering free support is also available.
