Now the boys will be running to find rock 'n' roll paradise at Bargo Sports Club.
With hits such as Run to Paradise, Boys Will be Boys and Never Gonna Die Australian Pub Rock royalty, The Choirboys will be bringing their smashing songbook along with a nice big six pack.

That six pack will be six songs of the late, legendary Tom Petty played in traditional Choirboys fashion.
My conversation with lead singer/guitarist Mark Gable began with the struggles of Spring and the upcoming tour.
"I've just had myself a bad allergy attack and I've never had anything like it," Gable said.
"The air conditioner in planes set it off. I reckon the North Koreans are developing a hay fever bomb to take all the Spring sufferers out (laughs).
"This time around, it isn't really a tour. They are more spot gigs. These shows are really more in support of these concept six pack shows.
"We do six songs from our favorite artist we grew up with. We've done Creedence Clearwater Revival and this time around it will be Tom Petty.
"I was skeptical doing Petty. He's a little more ambient. I really enjoy doing his Don't Come Around Here No More tune. We scale it back and do the song how it should of sounded if a pub rock band had played it."
These six pack shows have been a real treat for the band and the fans listening. This won't be the last time the band honour some of their favourite artists.
"We'll be doing Bruce Springsteen next," Gable said.
"I wanted to do ABBA but that band won't let me. I reckon it would be amazing. I'd love to hear what ABBA would sound like as a pub rock band.
"They have incredible songs. One of our hardcore fans who has been with us since the start said we have to definitely do it."
The Choirboys really commit to their six pack shows and the band look to entertain the fans by any means possible.
"Tom Petty's got that scraggly look," Gable said.
"The long hair parted and top hats. I went out and I've bought some Tom Petty wigs and top hats.
"We do the six songs in the middle of the set and we're going to dress up as Petty at Bargo. It's going to look hideous, but it'll be funny.
Growing up surrounded in rock music, Gable reflected on the bands that made him want to be a rock and roller and what Australian Pub Rock brought to the world of music.
"The Beatles did it for me," Gable said.
"We're going to do a six pack of them too. I reckon if we did The Beatles it would sound massive. I was speaking to the guitarist of The Sweet and asked him what makes Australian rock different?
"He responded with, "You created the A chord." (laughs) It's true! We beat the living daylight out of our guitars."
I reckon it would be amazing. I'd love to hear what ABBA would sound like as a pub rock band.
- Mark Gable
Looking back on his time, Gable enjoys touring much more these days than in the past. But still loves to get on that stage and entertain.
"I wouldn't like to go back to touring in the old days," Gable said.
"We had something to prove back then, but these days we don't have to do that anymore. We play for fun. Sure, we would have liked to have as many hits as Cold Chisel or The Beatles, but it is what it is.
"It's so much easier than the old mentality of having to winning the audience over. The best way to win is just be yourself and be a bloody idiot.
"I was told that by George Young, brother of Malcolm and Angus Young. Make a fool of yourself and that's what people remember, and it's true (laughs).
The Choirboys roll into town in November and will be playing at the Bargo Sports Club. This won't be an event you want to miss.
"Expect to have some fun," Gable said.
"We're looking to have fun and connect with people. If you make the effort to get away from the television, Youtube or Netflix, we'll let loose and show you a good time.
"There's nothing serious about a Choirboys show, so come have some fun."
The Choirboys will be performing at Bargo Sports Club on Saturday, November 9. For more information please call 4684 1222.
