The Bradman Museum hosted its inaugural Highlands District Captains Meeting and unveiled this seasons cricket leaders.
Returning as their leader, Bowral's Connor Murray is looking forward to the youth movement within their team and looks forward to mentoring his young side.
"I really want to rally around the young group we have this year," Murray said.
"We have a lot of new faces coming up through the club and we want to get them off on the right foot."
With youth comes learning and mistakes. But that isn't going to stop Bowral from their ultimate goal.
"We'll be hoping to win," Murray said.
"However, this season is also about building this young core we have up for the future. We'll be aiming to play good hard cricket, encourage them and support their talents.
"We want to strengthen their game and keep them at our club for a long time to come."

Coming off a fantastic last season, Wingello's captain Grant Pike will look to replicate but with some improvements.
"We're coming off a premiership win," Pike said.
"We'll obviously look to back that up with another win this season. If we can start this season consistently we'll be off on the right foot.
"The past two seasons we have started off slowly and then built into the back end. We need to start this season well and that will produce a consistent year."
Deciding to have another go around as Wingello's leader wasn't a hard decision for Pike.
"I really enjoyed captaining the team last season," Pike said.
"I think we play really well as a team. They're all a really good bunch of blokes at Wingello and however long their happy to have me as their captain, I'm happy to continue to do so.
"It's an easy job to do with great people."
Deputy chairman Graham Brake hosted the event and reminisced on previous seasons, shared jokes all while going through this season's itinerary.
Director of senior competitions and representative cricket Jack Whitfield shared some thoughts on how the game should be played this season.
"Play hard this season and with respect," Whitfield said.
"We're all looking forward to the season ahead and let's make sure we're shaking hands at the end of the day. We want to make sure we're all going home holding no grudges."
Highlands District Cricket Association's Chairman Simon Taufel was unable to attend as he has umpiring duties in the Caribbean.
Graham Brake spoke highly of the absent Taufel.
"We should be honoured to have a chair like Simon," Brake said.
"He's done some amazing work and we wish him well in the Caribbean."
Second grade and third grade teams kicked off the season on Saturday, October 12.
The first grade teams had a bye week, but will be in action on Saturday, October 19.
