A diverse showcase of more than 4000 artworks that represent 40 of Australia's creative heavyweights - and a selection of emerging stars - will come together in the Royal Botanic Gardens for the Artisans in the Gardens exhibition.
Back for its 19th year, Artisans in the Gardens is a nine-day celebration of the natural world across the mediums of sculpture, ceramics, hand-blown glass, photography, jewellery and textiles.
The exhibition will run from October 19 to 27 at Lion Gate Lodge and is suitable for all members of the family.
Entry is free of charge.
Curator Sandy Crichton and her team spent almost a year assembling the extraordinary collection from across Australia.
"Whether your budget is $20 or $20,000 or something in between, there is something here for everyone," Ms Crichton said.
A share of the proceeds from the exhibition will go to the Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens to support horticulture, conservation, scientific research and education programs within the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan and Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah.
