Works involve the installation of a bypass main at the water reservoir located within Mount Gibraltar Heritage Reserve to increase stored water at the Willow Vale Reservoir.
The work is scheduled to commence at 7.30am on Wednesday, October 9. Weather permitting works are anticipated to be completed by 5.30pm the same day.
During this time some residents may experience a drop in water pressure.
Areas that may be affected include east Mittagong, Renwick, Balaclava, Willow Vale, Braemar, Aylmerton, Alpine, Yerrinbool, Colo Vale and Hill Top.
Residents are asked to minimise non-essential water usage.
