A cornerstone of Australian pub rock royalty will be heading to the Southern Highlands. April Sun in Cuba, Rain and Are You Old Enough? Are staple songs in their set list and now the iconic band Dragon will look to rock the Bowral Bowling Club. Todd Hunter and his Dragon band mates are ready to show the town a good time with some great music. This will be the first time the band will play in Bowral, and Hunter is looking forward to it. Classic Indian Dance Showcase

A colourful, dynamic and emotive experience is the promise of a dance showcase coming to the Southern Highlands. Canberra's Sadhanalaya School of Arts will present Kuchipudi, one of South India's classical Indian dance forms, on October 12. The show, to be presented at Mittagong Playhouse, focuses on a dance style that has been in existence for thousands of years. Wonderful Women of Note

Join Louise Scott on piano and mezzo-soprano Linda Barcan at the Rose Room. Together the will play a program featuring a mystery woman, as well as songs by Lili Boulanger and Clara Shumann. Who is the mystery women? She was famous and charismatic, an international opera star, composer, pianist of concert rank, a great actress, an artist and a voice teacher.
