The Bowral restaurant was the only Southern Highlands establishment to be named in the annual guide this year.
Biota special events manager Nell Shephard said the recognition was the result of "years of dedication and innovation".
"It's a good team with a passion for the industry," she said.
"We want to make sure the customer has the best experience."
The inclusion in the national guide has given the restaurant exposure among Australia's dining community.

"It definitely has thrown us into the limelight for food and wine," she said.
"Especially for people travelling. We do have a good pool on the tourist trade in the Southern Highlands.
"It's exciting to be recognised alongside our peers and to be able share [what we do]."
