Demolition works commenced this week with the stripping out of internal fixtures and fittings, removal of electrical and mechanical systems and the disconnection and removal of utilities.
Works will continue on the structural components of the building and are expected to take approximately two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Demolition activities will be carried out between the hours of 7am and 6pm weekdays.
During this time, minor traffic delays on Wattle Lane may be experienced and some parts of the adjacent car park will be temporarily affected.
Traffic control measures will be put in place when demolition works impact on these areas.
Road users are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when traveling adjacent to the works being undertaken.
