Come down to Bradman Oval on October 11 with the whole family and enjoy free cricket clinics on Bradman Oval: the iconic place is where Sir Donald Bradman honed his skills as a young local.
The clinics run from 10.30am to 12.30pm on the Saturday teaching batting, bowling and fielding techniques, just in time for the start of the cricket season, or just for fun!
The Bradman Museum will have lots of things on for kids including a 'Kids Corner' filled with fun activities for kids of all ages to entertain and excite.
With free museum entry from 10am to 5pm for kids up to 17 years of age they can enjoy talks by the museum curator on fabulous and little known facts about the game of cricket.
All activities inside and outside are free and fully supervised so parents can relax and enjoy the museum or take five enjoying spring weather in the highlands, at iconic Bradman Oval.
This is a great day to get out and enjoy the spring weather in the Highlands and give the kids an experience they won't forget and say Happy 30th Birthday to the Bradman Museum.
The Bradman Museum was officially opened by Sir Donald & Lady Bradman on October 14 1989. The oval is where he and Lady Bradman met and walked to school each day as children, and now the site their final resting place, and holds a special place for local children and hearts of the whole community.
Kids Free Day is just one of many exciting events being held by the museum throughout the spring school holidays.
