Having played for Chevalier College, heading into this season there's a massive interest in seeing his old team on the field.
"I am mostly looking forward to playing against my old team, Chevalier College," Linsley said.
"The best thing about playing cricket is taking wickets! I can't wait to do that all season."
All I'm doing at the moment is playing the game for enjoyment.
- Floyd Linsley.
Most players have an extensive backstory in how they got into the game, Linsley's is a little more clear cut.
"Nothing got me into the game of cricket, I just wanted to try it," Linsley said.
"I don't really want to have a career playing cricket. I haven't given it much thought. All I'm doing at the moment is playing the game for enjoyment."
Alongside playing against his old team, Linsley has another goal set for this season.
"My goal is to get more wickets than last year," Linsley said. "I'm hoping maybe I can take 14 wickets this season. That's the plan."
