The biannual prize is one of the highlights of the Bowral Art Gallery's annual calendar.
First prize will take home $3000 acquisitive.
Second prize will receive $600 and third $400.
The winners will be announced on opening night September 27 at 6:30pm.
This year's judge will be architect Malcolm Carver.
Malcolm paints, draws and teaches all around the world.
The exhibition will run from September 28 to October 7.
Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for the people's choice winner who will receive $200 at the conclusion of the exhibition.
