ON A ROLL: Clive Neutze and his team picked up a victory on Saturday.
To take the lead under very windy and cold conditions, team Stafford played the perfect game leading 15-0 after seven ends.
From then on they called all the shots and ran out 26 shot winners.
Oscar Wahlin, Tim Blake, D Coltman and Kevin Stafford defeated Eric Willacy, Alistair McGhee, Paul Leverett and Josh Woodcock 36-10 on day one of the Mittagong RSL shield also.

- Clive Neutze, Stephen Della, Viv Gear and Dave Riddell defeated Graham Hunt, Bob Crowley, Bob Edwards and Robin Staples 28-12.
- Rick Reynolds, Richard Denman, Chris Forrester and Mick Flynn defeated Keith Edwards, Owen Williams, Don Coleman and Bill Meredith 26-22.
- Brian Porter, John Edmonds, Peter Watson and Peter Morales defeated Russell Knight, Gordon Lewis, Greg Lewis and Ashley Lewis 27-19.
