Interchange Australia's drama group, The Stage Fright Players, rehearse weekly to develop their skills in theatre production, including acting, directing, writing, set design, sound and lighting and costume design, under the professional guidance of director Mandy Bransgrove and our experienced support workers.
The inspiring, supportive environment increases creative expression abilities, builds confidence and develops communication skills.
Each year, the Stage Fright Players perform an original production that is attended by family, friends and the wider community.
Due to the dedication of each member in the group, every performance draws a capacity crowd and rave reviews.
On Wednesday, September 11, and Friday, September 13, The Stage Fright Players will perform their latest production, 'A Million Dreams', at Welby Hall.
Our talented actors have been working on this production all year and are very excited to be performing once again.
Join us for a magical display of inspirational dreams told through original poetry, sketches, song and dance.
This cabaret-style performance will pull at your heartstrings and make you laugh out loud!
The show will start at 5.30pm. Tickets are $5 and are available from Welby Hall before the shows or from the Interchange Australia office.
The Stage Fright Players rehearse on Wednesday evenings at Welby Hall.
Anyone interested in joining the Stage Fright Players can contact the Interchange office to arrange to attend a rehearsal and see how the drama program is structured and to ask our staff any questions.
New participants are welcome to join all year round!
