A man has died following a single-vehicle crash on Saturday.

A motorist travelling along the Hume Highway, Sutton Forrest at about 9.10pm on Saturday, about 400m north of Sallys Corner Road, located a Mazda utility on the median strip of the road that had crashed.
Police believe the vehicle was travelling northbound when it left the road and hit several trees, which caused it to roll.

The male driver was declared deceased at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.
Officers from The Hume Police District attended and established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic police.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
