A parade of kindergarten to year six students entertained a crowd of proud mums, dads and grandparents who came to watch the fun.

The students dressed up as their favourite book characters with teachers suited up as superheroes.

The aim of the day was to encourage the students to explore the joys of reading a good book.

Excitement was tangible as the students strutted their stuff to the delight of the audience.
