The inaugural Bowral in Bloom event is one to mark on your social calendar.
Organised by the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens committee, Bowral in Bloom is a fundraising evening that promises food, fun, flowers and frivolity.
The evening will be held at the Bowral Golf Club on September 27.
It aims to raise funds for ongoing projects at the Southern Highland Botanic Gardens on the corner of Kangaloon and Old South Road, Bowral.
This year's key project focus is the establishment of an education centre to be available to the community. Funds raised during Bowral in Bloom will go to the building appeal.
The evening will include a two course meal with drinks and canapes on arrival.
Meanwhile, guests will be encouraged to get creative with a speed floral art challenge.
Other highlights of the evening will include a raffle, lucky door prizes and a silent auction.
All in attendance are also urged to follow the floral dress theme for the evening.
The fun will kick off at 7pm and tickets are $125 per person.
