A piece of Highlands history, Barber's Creek Viaduct Tallong, provided an engaging entrance at the southern gateway of the Southern Highlands and a great photo opportunity for Susan de Vos. She said she found the "beautiful old brick bridge" while traveling on Highlands Way at Tallong. "We pulled over to take a few pictures and to investigate its history."
"It replaced a single span bridge which had been built in 1868. Tallong was originally named Barber's Creek Tank but renamed Tallong in 1905. This is a peaceful place to stop with ample parking to have a cuppa and a sandwich."
