Prices have remained stable over the last week, with the average price if regular unleaded remaining at 148.2 in Mittagong and 144.6 in Moss Vale.
Diesel prices have experienced an increase, with prices rising by 0.8 to reach 150.5 in Mittagong and 0.4 increase from last week in Moss Vale, with Diesel prices at 149.9.
Global factors include the price of Tapis Asian Crude falling to $1.2 cents per litre AUD and the price of Mogas, the Singapore unleaded fuel and the Australian benchmark, rose rose from US$ 71.65 barrel to US$ 72.82 a barrel this past week.
In $A terms the average price of mogas rose 0.8 cents per litre this past week. The price of oil continue to rise due to the growing uncertainty associated with lower forecasts of global economic growth.
For motorists who fuel up in the Sydney metro region, fuel prices are expected to spike over the July 13-14 weekend to 151 cents per litre.
Current average price for regular unleaded in Sydney is 129.7 cents per litre. The average prices for fuel in Sydney is as follows E10 is 127.5 cents per litre, Regular is 129.7 cents per litre, Premium 95 is 145.3 cents per litre and Premium 98 is 151.1 cents per litre.
