The road works will take place between June 17 and June 21 between 7 am and 5 pm, affecting Northbound traffic.
Motorists are advised to approach with caution, check signage as speed limits drop down to 40 km per hour and advised to allow around five minutes extra travel time.
There will be additional road works scheduled on June 18 on the Nattai Bridge, Hume Highway from 8pm to 5 am.
Southbound lanes will be closed and motorists will be directed on to the Old Hume Highway at Alymerton and will re-join the Hume Highway at Welby.
Motorists are advised to allow around 15 minutes extra travel time.
Residents living in Braemar, Balaclava, Mittagong and Welby may experience higher traffic volumes and increased noise levels as a result of this detour.
