A Christmas in June dinner and trivia night will be held to raise money for Korina Valentine to purchase a new prosthetic hand. The trivia night will also feature a raffle which will give attendees will get the chance to win a relaxing three night cruise aboard the Ruby Princess. Katrina is a quadruple amputee who lost her limbs to a life threatening spesis infection. In March this year Korina was given the opportunity to trial two bionic hands.The bionic hands have allowed her to gain more independence. Tickets cost $55 or $550 for a table of ten and can be bought at Mittagong RSL.
Emily Express Vintage Train Ride and Picnic
June 23, Burradoo Station, 10 am
All aboard the Emily's Express to help raise money for Emily Hunt. Emily was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour. The money will go towards the Hunt Family, Ronald McDonald House and the Humour Foundation. Climb aboard an original 1940's train the will power through the country side, ending with an old fashion picnic. Tickets includes a packed picnic lunch, games and face painting for the kids. There will also be wine, beer and bubbles available for purchase. The train will depart from Burradoo Station on June 23 at 10 am.
Cockatoo Run Southern Pielander
June 23, Robertson and Moss Vale
The Cockatoo Run is heading to the Highlands on June 23. The vintage locomotive will stop at Robertson and Moss Vale for pie time. The train will depart Sydney Central and will travel through the Royal National Park and along the spectacular Illawarra route. Passengers will have the choice of disembarking at either Robertson or Moss Vale. Catch a glimpse of the vintage train at Robertson at 12:50 pm as it arrives or at 3:45 pm or see at Moss Vale at 1:40 pm or 2:55 pm.
Berrima Markets

Take your pick from a number of stalls at the Berrima Schoolyard Market on Saturday. There will be plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained as you pick up fresh fruit and veggies from the market and anything else that grabs your attention.
