Firstly it highlights the reality of drought in the Southern Highlands with the dry and brown clearing in the background and even along the water's edge.

Secondly it shows that even in dry, brown conditions there is beauty in the Highlands landscape. Thirdly it proves that great photographs can be captured on your phone camera.

Linda Edmends was walking along Bong Bong walking track when this sight caught her eye. With phone in hand she snapped the vision to share with others.
