The Moss Vale Motor Group Challenge is fast approaching and entries close this month.
Starting date will be Wednesday July 3 and end date August 7 with weather permitting.
Teams will be of two bowlers (pairs); teams may be male , female or mixed (ladies are invited and welcome)
The competition will be a handicap competition.
Substitutes in a team will be allowed. The game shall be played using the handicaps of the four players competing team.
Handicaps will be the total of the two players handicaps.
This combined handicap will be compared to the opposing teams handicap and the team with the higher combined handicap will start with the difference of shots. (i.e. team a combined handicap 30- team B combined handicap 35. Team B starts with plus 5 shots)
Entries will close on Saturday 29th June at 5:00 pm.
Games will start at 12:30 pm.
Games will be 21 ends with no practice ends.
For this tournament; in the event that the jack goes out of bounds ,the jack will be replaced on the T.
A draw is a valid result; an extra end will not be played.
Entry fee will be $12 on each of the competition days.
The Moss Vale Motors Group has generously donated $1,400 prize money .
Prize money will be distributed at the conclusion of the event and shall be distributed as follows: no team can win more than one (1) prize
- First prize of $400
- Second prize of $250
- Third prize of $100
- Fourth prize or $50
- A weekly single prize of $100

Bowls secretary Dan Ticehurst has asked for teams to get together now and the lead and skip handicap will be put on the notice board.
