Police are appealing for information after an attempted armed robbery in Moss Vale.

A 31 year-old female was walking along Railway Street at 11:40pm on May 23 when she was approached by two men.
It is alleged that one of the men threatened the woman with what is believed to be a pocket knife, demanding her wallet and mobile phone, before fleeing the scene empty handed.
The men were last seen running along Railway Street towards Spring Street.
The woman was not physically injured.
Detectives from the Southern Highlands are investigating the matter. Police are patrolling the area and are making enquiries.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the two men to come forward.
