After the early rounds, Beryl Oates defeated Laura Quintanilla 27/19 and Bev Clayton had a narrow escape against Margaret Dawkins, winning by one shot, 25/24.
Next, Elizabeth Hall played Brenda Campbell in a very even match with the lead sea-sawing every few ends before Liz won 25/20.
In another of Bev's matches, she defeated Beryl which saw her go into the final against Liz.
In the Final, a determined Elizabeth went out hard, playing some lovely bowls and looked set to take the match early, when on a couple of occasions, holding three shots, Bev would come in and cut it back.
Elizabeth eventually won the match 25/8 and both ladies should be congratulated on making it to the final.
