Works will involve cleaning of the existing drains along the side of the roadway and the construction of two new box culverts across the road. Line-marking and guide posts will also be renewed.
Construction will be carried out over a distance of one kilometre between 1338 Wilson Drive and Telopea Road from 7.00am to 5.00pm weekdays.
During construction the road will be temporarily reduced to one lane with alternating one-way traffic. Signage will also be in place and traffic controllers will be stationed on-site to manage traffic during work hours.
Where possible, motorists are urged to avoid the construction area. The road will be re-opened to two-way traffic outside of scheduled work hours.
Road users are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when traveling through the work zone and be aware of loose stones and heavy machinery within the work areas.
