Letters focus on a 'precedent set' and the Israel Folau debate

A precedent already set

I read in the Southern Highlands News (April 26) that a above DA for commercial premises, cafe and residential apartments at 421 to 425 Bong Bong Street was refused by council and had to laugh at some of the quotes from Mayor Gair. This is one of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen this council take. While mayor Gair suggests council doesn't want to set a precedent, the fact is they already have.
