All Things Great are Small - miniature artwork exhibition
A large variety of small and collectible artworks to please the eye will be on display.
The very small artworks are filled with creativity and feature watercolour, gouache, acrylic, oil, pen, ink, printmaking, scratchboard, pastel, woodturning, jewellery and more.
NSW Siberian Express - Paws for a Cause
May 4, Wingello State Forest.
Each year NSW Siberian Express holds a fund-raising sled dog race to raise money for the guide dogs association of NSW/ACT.
This year they will be holding a mock race, this will be a fantastic opportunity for all the new comers to the sport to experience race conditions and have loads of fun.
The unusual event is sure to get your heart pumping for a great cause.

Tallong Apple Day
May 5, 2 Memorial Drive Tallong.
For a great day of fun, come along to the Tallong Apple Festival. Participate in one of the competitions, enjoy the attractions or check out the exhibitions and demonstrations.
An apple pie eating competition and a cooking demonstration by chefs from the Hyatt in Canberra are sure to be the highlight of the day.
Entry is $5 per person, children under 12 years are free.

Exeter monthly markets
The first Sunday on each month, Exeter Village Hall 9am to 1.30pm.
A country market with a vibrant community of over 40 sellers, producers and makers in one of the most beautiful settings in the Southern Highlands. This indoor and outdoor market has something for everyone from plants, pates, preserves and pastries to handcrafted homewares, fashion, jewellery and pre-loved wares. There is ample parking, plus a children's playground for young ones to get active.

Colo Vale monthly markets
The first Saturday of each month, 28 Railway Avenue Colo Vale 9am to 1.30pm.
A friendly monthly village market with a variety of stalls including fresh produce, home crafts and delicious home cooked food along with a great barbecue menu and coffee truck. Held at the Community Hall and surrounding grounds directly opposite the historic Railway Station.
