The new edition and launch will focus on Australia's vast raft of environments to investigate how these places are changing and what they might become; what is flourishing and what is at risk.
The magazine asserts that the environmental vocabulary of our times requires dramatic terms: extinctions and endings; tipping points and collapses; bottlenecks and cascade effects.
The articles will explore how the relationship between people and their environment has shifted from one of innocence to one of anxiety.
The review will ask the questions: is this simply an urban age? Or is it fundamentally different? And is it still possible to dream of ecotopias somewhere further down the track?
The launch will be held at the Creative and Co Concept Store,325 Bong Bong St on May 10 from 6pm
Entry is free but bookings are essential.
