Joining more than 200 degree graduates from across the state at the higher education graduation ceremony at TAFE NSW Ultimo, Mr Snazelle graduated from a Bachelor of IT (Network Security) in front of a number of dignitaries including TAFE NSW Managing Director Dr Caralee McLiesh, family and friends.
He is now working in cyber security and despite being unable to reveal details of his role he said "it's an amazing job directly related to what I studied at TAFE NSW."
"I grew up in Bowral and remember at school I always had a passion for working with computers but I thought it was going to be out of my reach," he said.
"It's fantastic to graduate. I feel like I've hiked up a mountain, made it to the top and now see a bigger mountain to come. But because I did this I know I can do anything.
"I got a lot out of this course and had wonderful support from my teachers. They would challenge me in a way that has helped increase my ambition and my drive to be the best I can."
Mr Snazelle now lives and works in Sydney but the work he does has ramifications around the nation.
TAFE NSW Relieving Deputy Regional General Manager, Liz O'Brien, commended the graduates on their commitment and dedication to studying a degree at TAFE NSW, which has equipped them with the practical skills and work experience they need to pursue their chosen career.
"I am delighted to have attended the ceremony today and personally wish our graduates every success as they pursue their career," Mrs O'Brien said.
