Bambinos Kindergarten has sent care packages to troops overseas ahead of ANZAC day.
Holly Delaney, managing director of the kindergarten saw an opportunity to get the children involved in the local community and to teach them about ANZAC Day.
"One of our educators had the amazing idea of sending packages to the troops," she said.
"We were able to get the children involved by talking about what ANZAC Day is and explaining why we will be sending the troops some special items and asking what they think we should send to them."
"We then followed this with creating some pictures that we could send over to the troops."
To prepare the care packages, Bambinos took the kids to the shops to purchase items chosen by the kids, which were then placed in the box. They also helped deliver the packages to the post office, with staff members walking the kids in six-seat prams.
Bambinos have also asked parents to get involved by bringing photos of loved ones who have fought in previous wars or are currently deployed overseas to display in the centre and to attend the ANZAC Day ceremonies that are taking place across the Highlands.
