Three cars were stolen from the M1 Garage in Somersby on the Central Coast on Sunday night.
Southern Highlands Police officer-in-charge Inspector John Klepczarek said there were unofficial reports of a vehicle sighting at 7-Eleven in Pheasants Nest and in the Gunning/Goulburn area.
"It is described as a silver Commodore Walkinshaw, decked out with sport attachments," Inspector Klepczarek said.
The owners of the car dealership took to Facebook on Monday morning to express their frustration and offer a reward.
"The bastards got us last night and took three Commodores. We will pay a $20k [$20,000] reward to get these guys. Low life scum," the post said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Southern Highlands Police Station on 4869 7899 or their local police station.
