Emergency services were called to the Hume Highway north of Yerrinbool at about 7.20pm on March 23.
One southbound lane was closed and crews worked up until midnight to clear the site.
According to NSW Ambulance Media, one person was taken to Bowral and District Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
The age and the gender of the motorist could not be confirmed.
Ambulance, police, HAZMAT teams, Fire and Rescue crews, Rural Service crews, Roads and Maritime Services traffic teams and a heavy vehicle tow truck were in attendance.
According to a Transport Management Centre (TMC) spokeswoman, the B-double truck had a load of milk products when it collided with the car and a rock wall during the crash.
The TMC spokeswoman said as the truck was large, it took crews longer to clear the crash site.
"The truck had to be removed from a rock wall," she said.
"There was also a heavy tow involved in the incident. The heavy tow had to move to the truck closer to Mittagong to a wider shoulder to make the salvage easier.
"After the truck was removed there was some debris that had to be moved off the road."
There were moderate traffic conditions for passing motorists while crews worked together to clear the southbound lane.
