On Thursday March 28, Linda will present another in her popular series 'Captured in the Light'.
This series is an annual showcase of selected images from the BDHS photo collection which Linda accompanies with stories of the history the photos reveal.
This year Linda will feature a diverse selection of photos, including those showing modes of transport over time to commemorate the opening, 30 years ago, of the Berrima by-pass for the Hume Freeway.
Featured also will be a fascinating series of hand-coloured postcards of early Bowral streetscapes, as well as photos of Tallong apple pyramids on display at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
The presentation will be an entertaining and informative ramble through local history.
All are welcome to attend. The meeting starts at 2pm, upstairs at the Society's Research Centre, Old Council Chambers (Playhouse), Bowral Road, Mittagong, with afternoon tea provided.
